What we’re doing
After nearly 20 years of stress, long hours and dealing with the general complexity of working in large multinational companies, we decided we wanted something different from our lives. So we traded it all in for stress, long hours and complexity, but working for ourselves to build a new life that allows us to bring life back to 3 hectares of largely disused land and farm buildings, live a more sustainable life and help others discover the beauty of our favorite place in the UK - the Peak District National Park.
We’re not there yet. We have a growing menagerie of animals (including a small flock of Valais Blacknose Sheep that behave like labradors and 4 very opinionated geese) and are discovering new DIY skills (and their limits!) every day. Our Animals
By arrangement you can take a tour of our Smallholding and feed / pet our small flock of very friendly sheep, horses and ducks.
